about
A Quarry Reclaimed by Nature
Stones & Stars is set in Radford Quarry, a hidden limestone hollow long since given back to the wild. Since its closure in the 1960s, the land has transformed into a secluded haven for wildlife – and now, a rare retreat for people too.
Each of our beautifully styled tents includes:
- Comfy beds with quality linen and towels.
- Antique furniture with character and soul.
- Crockery, cutlery and BBQ utensils.
- Battery-powered lights and phone charging.
- Blankets and hot water bottles for cooler nights or staying out to stargaze.
Communal areas are nestled beneath the trees and cliffs, with fire bowls, picnic tables, and quiet corners to gather or retreat as you please. Luxury showers and toilets are brand new and thoughtfully designed.
We welcome guests who care about nature and quiet.
While we love dogs, we do not allow pets – to protect the local wildlife and ensure peace for all. Children are warmly welcomed but must be supervised, as the quarry terrain includes rocky features and steep edges.
